Privacy policy

Last updated October 2026

The Esbron Group runs OyaSite. This page explains what we collect, why, and your rights under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA).

What we collect

Your account: your name and email from Google or your email link, and your business details, including the WhatsApp and phone numbers you type in. We do not check those numbers by sending a code.

Your website: text, prices, photos and logo you add.

Messages and orders: what your customers send through your website (name, phone number, message, order items).

Visits: daily totals of visits and taps on each website, plus a short source name such as Google or WhatsApp. We use no cookies for this, no advertising trackers, and we do not store visitor IP addresses or any personal detail about visitors.

A random id kept in your browser, used only to stop the free trial being used twice on one device.

Why we use it

To build and show your website, deliver messages and orders to you, process payments, stop abuse, and support you. The legal basis is your agreement to use OyaSite and our legitimate interest in keeping it safe.

Who else sees it

Services that help us run OyaSite: Google Firebase (sign-in and database), Vercel (hosting and photo storage), Paystack (payments), and AI providers (Anthropic Claude, Groq) that write text and read price list photos. We send them only what the task needs. We never sell your data.

If you connect BizKlarity, it can see only what you allow on the consent screen.

Customers of your website

When a customer sends you an enquiry, order or review, you become responsible for how you use their details. Use them only to answer and serve them.

How long we keep it

While your account exists. A paused website keeps its data. If you delete your account we remove your websites, products, messages and orders. We keep the record that a free trial was used for your phone number and device, so a trial cannot be used twice. Payment records are kept as required by law.

Your rights

You can see, download, correct and delete your data. Download or delete it yourself in Me, Privacy and data. You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

Security

Data is stored with Google Cloud and Vercel. Sign-in is handled by Google Firebase. Secret keys stay on our servers.
